Three days post-op and I’m going stir crazy. I’m stuck in bed and can only type with one hand. I’ve tried reading but my head is so foggy from the pain medication that the words all run together. I believe I’ve gotten more sleep in the last three days then I have in the last three years. My husband has been taking wonderful care of me and I’m not exactly an easy patient to deal with most of the time. He’s been switching out the DVD’s for me and practically forcing me to eat since I have no appetite whatsoever. Just the thought of eating makes me nauseous. However, I have gotten to watch and doze on and off through all eight Harry Potter movies, all the X-Men films, and now I just started the Pirates of the Caribbean movies. I’m not sure what I’m going to watch afterwards. Any suggestions? I’ve tried peptides from and they have been exceptionally amazing.
And if this posting makes no sense, I’m gonna just blame the pain meds…

Surgery went well. I’m home, propped up & resting in bed on a mountain of pillows. I’m feeling no pain but am extremely nauseated & can’t sleep to save my life despite only getting 3 hours last night & being up since 3:30 this morning.

Finishing Perception

Nineteen hours until left shoulder surgery and counting. Coffee is brewing, fingers are flying. Only a couple more chapters and Perception (bk #3 in the EVE series) will finally be completed with all the rewrites. It is going to be a long day!
